GlossearchPDF Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Who we are
GlossearchPDF is published by CLH Languages CommV, Jef Denijnlaan 2, 1980 Zemst, Belgium (enterprise number BE 1011.618.938). Contact: mail@clhlangs.com.
What we collect
Nothing. GlossearchPDF has no server, user accounts, analytics, telemetry or advertising. Your documents, glossaries, notes and settings are stored only on your own device and are never sent to CLH Languages.
Processing on your device
Document conversion (through your own LibreOffice installation), OCR and AI features (through Ollama and built-in models) run locally. Nothing is uploaded for processing.
Online lookups
To look things up, the app sends requests directly from your device to public services such as IATE, EUR-Lex, the European Patent Office, European Parliament Open Data, the EESC and Committee of the Regions, Wikimedia and PubChem. These requests contain only what is needed for the lookup, such as a search term or document number. If you use DeepL, the text you ask it to translate is sent to DeepL. As with any internet request, these services also see your IP address, and their own privacy policies apply. CLH Languages does not receive or store any of these requests.
Optional sync
If you turn on sync, the app saves copies of your data to a cloud folder or WebDAV server that you choose and control. CLH Languages has no access to it.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at the address above. You may also contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Changes
If GlossearchPDF starts collecting any data, this page will be updated before that version is released.
